Tsukemen near Shinjuku Gyoen—recommended by my Japanese friend and now one of my favorites!
Chewy noodles + super thick, flavorful soup = perfection.
The broth surprised me… salty in layers.
On my lips → tasted the sea
On my tongue → shrimp came swimming
Big portion, free water, long line (40 mins at 3 PM), but totally worth it.
After eating, take a slow walk in Shinjuku Gyoen to cool down and digest. 🌿🍜
