🍛 Thiáng Gab Laa — A Hidden Gem in Bang Khun Non Worth Getting Lost For Tucked away next to an art gallery filled with Buddha statues, Thiáng Gab Laa is a cozy new spot (opened just two months ago) serving comforting Thai-Chinese dishes, good drinks, and homemade desserts. The menu is simple — only three mains for now: 🍗 Chicken rice (Singapore-Chinese style) 🐖 Roast pork (Hong Kong style) 🌶️ Kra Pao (pork or beef) Personally, I’m more into the Thai-style chicken rice and roast pork, but their Kra Pao really stands out — flavorful, perfectly spiced, and honestly good enough to eat every day. Drinks and desserts are just as enjoyable. They’ve got a variety — coffee, matcha, tea, sparkling drinks — I tried their dark roast coffee; strong, smooth, and bold enough to shine through the milk. Desserts change daily, all homemade, a little pricey but definitely worth it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming — perfect whether you’re here for a casual family meal or a quiet work session. The art gallery next door adds an artistic, peaceful touch to the whole space. If you ever find yourself lost in Bang Khun Non, let yourself stay lost a little longer — and find Thiáng Gab Laa. You might just love it here. ✨ Enjoy wandering, and have a beautiful day!
